However kids need to be able to divide as well as multiply, and after a lot of requests we have put together a similar set of free worksheets for simple division, using the same times-tables type of format so children can reinforce their awareness of the underlying structure of the times tables themselves.

We would recommend you ensure your child has worked through all the free Multiplication worksheets and is confident in answering those accurately (at around 2-3 minutes for each completed sheet) before starting work on any of the free Division worksheets.

The Multiplication index page will give you some idea of the best order in which to work through the Division worksheets - pages 1-4 of both multiplication and division are based on the 1 times table, pages 5-8 on the 2 times table, etc.

and may be used as a non-commercial education resource, free of charge,
provided only that they are printed / photocopied without modification.

It is recommended, when printing, to use the option "print pages 1 to 1" (rather than "print all pages") as each worksheet is designed to print onto a single sheet but because of the html may sometimes overlap onto a second for printing [the second sheet should not be required].

Draft quality (grayscale) is usually fine; "presentation" may be better for photocopy originals.
