do you have an original graphic we could add here, relating to 'gravitational field strength'? please see the main Gridbuilding page for details of how to get in touch

The gravitational field strength measures how strong any gravitational field is, by giving the value of the force it exerts on an object of mass 1kg.

The gravitational field strength is measured in Newtons per kilogram (N/kg).

For example, the gravitational field strength on the earth is 9.8N/kg, whilst on the moon it is 1.6N/kg.
