CUT

This HM allows you to cut down one type of bush which looks different to all the rest. You should be able to tell what type of bush this is. Unlike most of the bushes this bush will be on its own. There will be none of the same type next to it. In battle this is a normal attack.

FLY

This move can only be taught to Bird Pokémon and it takes up two goes. This is still a normal attack. The Pokémon flies into the air on the 1^st turn, and attacks on the 2^nd turn. This move lets you fly to the Pokémon Centre in whatever town you specify. It will also take you to your home in PALLET TOWN.

SURF

It will be mostly all WATER Pokémon that can learn this move, with the exception of Pokémon like SNORLAX and Surfing PIKACHU etc. SURF lets you travel across water and you can also use it during battle.

HM 04

STRENGTH

There are a lot of Pokémon that can be taught this move. It enables you to move boulders in the game. When you use this in battle it will still be a normal attack.

HM 05

FLASH

In the rock tunnel, the cave will be almost pitch black. You need to teach this HM to an ELECTRIC Pokémon. Once you have done this you will be able to light the cave using FLASH. In battle this reduces the enemy's accuracy.
