Re # 4080, Pokérus is a virus that increases all of your pokémon's stats, and makes the infected pokémon gain experience by just walking, making the Pokérus a highly desired disease. You can spread it to others in your party. Putting an infected pokémon in the pc freezes the natural curing of the virus - or, simply put, the pokémon won't get better if it is in the computer.

Building Andy's Guide to Pokémon has been a lot of work (you wouldn't *believe* how long it takes to generate a new Cheats page, because of the hundreds and hundreds of e-mails to wade through, looking for good info, let alone all the link factors) but it's really good to know that you guys appreciate the end result :)

For yellow, re # 3105 - if you see a boulder next to a hole, use strength to push it down, then you jump down. Then push the boulder onto the caucer, then walk up the stairs, walk right until you see a ladder, then climb up. Continue on and you'll see a couple of trainers. Then, when you are about to exit, a trainer will teach your pokémon a TM. Hope this helps, and good luck.

In response to the person in cheat # 4149, hope you understand that to get a Feebas in Sapphire there is only one place to get one, on route 119 in the body of water next to the weather institute. In there you could find a Feebas, but there are only a FEW places in the water and the place changes each day. The best way to get a Feebas is to trade. GOOD LUCK!

I love this website.

I'm replying to # 4229 (how to defeat the Elite Four and Gary in Fire Red). I started the game with Charmander and he's now level 81 so it was easy. But as you get closer to the Pokémon League, you see more of Gary and you have to battle him. The Elite Four's easy with my level 50 Growlithe and level 81 Charizard. So work on your Pokémon, so if you run into them you'll be ready. Tip: Travel with a lot of Max Revive, Max Repel and Escape Ropes.

... we're not sure on this one. According to e-mails received there are only three legendaries - Dialga (Mt Coronet), Palkia (Mt Coronet) and Giratina (just off R214), though the Diamond + Pearl Pokédex here gives Spear Pillar for the first two (Dialga only in Diamond, Palkia in Pearl, ie need to trade one to the other) and Giratina at Turnback Cave. The DP Pokédex gives the location of Darkrai as New Moon Island - see #4365 for more info, though only for using an Action Replay to get Darkrai.

E-MAILS: due to ongoing problems with mail getting through to here, we've made a * mail form * you can use to write to us.
In the years since the Cheats area at Andy's Guide to Pokémon first started, there have been many mail problems - and quite a few computer crashes - and we'd like to say sorry to anyone whose messages have got lost along the way .... just remember you can *always* re-send, and hopefully now that we have a more guaranteed way for info to reach us here, we'll find a way to get most or all of the genuine info on line :)     We very much appreciate the support that all of you give this site.
