Help for fire red:
First get 60 different pokemon, then go to professor oak, he will give you and Gary a national Dex. Then go to one island and talk to celio, he will talk about a ruby, then go to mt. ember, go up then right, you will see team rocket blocking a cave, battle them and they'll be gone. Then go get the ruby, give it to celio, then he'll give you a rainbow pass, then you'll be able to go to island 4 5 6 7.

 ... well you could try out Diamond + Pearl, which look pretty challenging :)
... seriously though, would be appreciated if any of you that have completed any of the games could explain some of the more difficult bits for the younger kids who visit here. Doesn't have to be "a walkthrough" - just maybe a run-through of part of any game (the links will make the info easier to find). And of course we could do with significant amounts of input for stadium, colosseum, xd, ranger + dp as well - if any of you have any useful info to offer :)

In diamond and pearl, the Move Deleter is in the 1st house downwards from the Pokemon center in Canalave city.

 ... also perhaps worth mentioning here that Pokémon transfers to diamond + pearl (GBA via Pal Park, end of route 221) cannot take place until their HM moves have been deleted - there should be a Move Deleter in Fuchsia City or Lilycove, in earlier games.
