| Help to get the Gems in Fire Red & Leaf Green Versions (US Version) Hello my name's Rich from northern California (U.S.A.) This is how to get the gems in Fire Red and Leaf Green. To get the Ruby Gem, capture Moltres on One Island, then you should see two rocket members by a cave. Defeat them to retrieve the Ruby Gem in the cave - you should get one of the two passwords also. To get Sapphire Gem, go fight team rocket at Ice Falls Cave, where you meet Lorelei. After that go to 6 island and go to the Secret Ruin (make sure you have a pokemon on your team who knows cut or you can't get inside the Secret Ruin). Once you're in the secret ruins you will see the Sapphire gem but a Scientist will steal it and try to sell it ( he will however give you the 2nd password you need to get). Then go to Five island. Go to the Rocket Warehouse and enter the passwords. Once you are in, defeat every Rocket member inside and the Scientist at the far right back corner of the Warehouse hideout. He will then give you the Sapphire Gem if you beat him. Once you have both Gems go to One Island and go to the Pokénet Center and give Celio the Gems by the big machine on the right corner. Now you can trade between ruby and sapphire and the fire red and leaf green versions. | |||||||

| Re: # 3283 I don't know quite how to say this, but your team is not unbeatable. First of all Lapras, Dragonite, and Charizard are all weak aginst electric type attacks. Zapdos and Dragonite are both weak aginst ice type attacks, mewtwo is weak aginst bug and dark type attacks and Raichu is weak aginst ground type attacks. It seems as if the team I have could easily beat your team: Jolteon Walrien Groudon Venusaur Mighteyna Rayquaza I might have traded ruby pokemon to fire red but this has increased overall strength. Your team seems weaker because three of your pokemon are weak to electric type attacks but you don't have a pokemon that is resistant to electric type attacks. Your team might be stronger if you had pokemon that you could swap in if required. | |||||||

| Hi, I am Norman and I live in Singapore. I have a good cheat for FR/LG/R/B/Y versions that will help to cure poisoning in the viridian forest (60-70% chance of poisoning, probably). Go straight up from viridian city and go to the building and exit, you will reach viridian forest. When you enter the forest, walk STRAIGHT AHEAD and stop once you hit a big tree. Press the A button and you will find an antidote. | |||||||

| Help for ruby version: First train your pokemon to level 100 then challenge battle tower for the elite 4 ... you also need a water pokemon that learns surf so you should have an advantage especially with a pokemon that learns hydro pump. For the 8th badge you would need a trained pikachu (from the safari zone) and maybe other electric types :) | |||||||
