| Hi, this is Ayah from the U.S., and I have a few things to say: I was wondering where do you get fire, thunder, and water stones on pokemon gold, silver, and crystal? Second, on question # 3260 it says you can get Sucuine, Entei, and Raikou, on pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Where do you find them? Also, it says that that you need a Mewtwo to get them. Where do you get a Mewtwo on FireRed and LeafGreen? Now the next few things are answers to FAQ's. On pokemon Ruby and Sapphire - You can find Regiice, Regirock, and Registeel by first having a Wailord in front of your party and having, I believe, a Relicanth in the back. Then go west of Pacifidlog town and when you get to the current try to stay on the bottom of the screen. You should then see an area to dive. Use dive, then swim to a rock. In Braille it will say SWIM UP, so use dive again. You will be inside a cave. Go up to the wall and use Strength and the wall will break down. Enter through the hole. Go up to the next wall and if you have Wailord and Relicanth in the right place click on the wall and the Braille on the wall will come up. Click A again and it will say something like "It sounds like 3 chambers have opened up". If it says something like that, you're one step closer to getting these three pokemon! ... continued on next message box (not enough space, *long* message!) | |||||||

| TO GET TO REGIICE: Regiice will be on route 105 on your way to Dewford (if you're swimming on a pokémon) in an island cave. While you're swimming on that route there will be an island with a bunch of trees. On the other side of the trees will be a man. If you battle him, before you two battle he will say something about a rock being nearby. When you defeat him swim up. There will be a few more trainers then you will see a large cave with 6 rocks around it. Go inside, then go up to the wall and click on the Braille. Keep the Braille up for 2 minutes, then the wall will crack open (like in the sea cave). Go inside and you will see Regiice! He will be at lv. 40. Before you click on him I suggest you save. It took me a couple of tries to get him. When you do get him save, then head out and go to the next cave. TO GET REGIROCK: To get to the cave Regirock is in, go to the desert in the east of Mauville city. When you get there go all the way down and you will see a cave just like the one Regiice was in. I don't know how to break down the wall for Regirock but you'll figure it out! TO GET REGISTEEL: Registeel is in the cave on I believe, route 121 after Fortree City. There will be a pile of stairs on the left of the screen. Go up them. You will see places for a sceret base and stuff but on the side will be tall grass. Go through the tall grass. Then you will get to the chamber Registeel is in. Sorry, but I don't know how to open that wall either. Well, on to my other answers. ... continued on next message box (not enough space, next one is the final one [of 3]) | |||||||

| (this message follows on from the two above) ON POKEMON CRYSTAL: This is a cheat on getting your dream-team of EEVEEs. Get an eevee from Bill in Glodenrod city and get a ditto. Put them both in the day-care and let them have 4 eggs. Walk around with the eggs and they will hatch into eevees! Train 2 eevees up to level 19 or 20 and if you do one in the day and one at night they will evolve into an Umbreon and an Espeon! Then find a thunder, fire, and water stone for the other eevees to turn them into Jolteon, Falreon, and Vaporeon (that's why I asked about where to get the stones). This will also work on Gold and Silver but you must train the 2 eevees to I think to lv. 37 if you want them to become Umbreon and Espeon. It will also might help if you give your eevees haircuts (a group of brothers do haircuts in the Underground, also in Goldenrod city, and very close to Bill's house). And there you have it!! You now have all of eevee's evolved forms! I hope what I have sent in helps people here. I really need those questions at the top answered too. Oh, and one more thing. I LOVE THIS SITE!!!! | |||||||

| Andy, my name is Jon from America and I wanted to confirm that cheat # 3047 about how to catch mew does work. i have used this cheat every time I restart my game. Also about the missingno number cheat (2001) to get different pokémon it depends on what letter is in what spot in your name. i know this because I use different letters every time but I always put an a in the third spot and a n in the fifth spot. I have always gotten a squirtle and a growlithe. | |||||||

| Re: #2035 about the gymleaders. BROCK - if you started with bulbasaur or squirtle this battle will be easy. Once squirtle learns bubble (water gun would be better) and bulbsaur learns vine whip, take on Brock. If you started with charmander you should catch a mankey on route 2 and train it until it learns low kick, then take on Brock. MISTY - by now your starter should have evolved. If you started with bulbasaur, Misty should be easy to deal with. With squirtle as your starter, I would advise going through nugget bridge then catching a oddish or bellsprout. Raise it until it is around level 20 then go fight Misty. This also works if you started with charmander. LT.SURGE - if squirtle was your starter then beware. LT.SURGE uses the electric type. I recomMend that with all starters you catch a diglett in diglett's cave and raise it to level 23. Use its ground type moves to defeat LT.SURGE. ERIKA - if charmander was your starter you will have very little problems with Erika's grass type pokémon. Squirtle is in danger here so use ether flying or fire type moves. Psychic type moves will be effective against the poison side of her pokémon. Use this same advice for bulbasaur. KOGA - none of the starters will get a bonus here so attack Koga with any ground or psychic type attacks. SABRINA - again none of the starters get a bonus here but bulbasaur would be a bad choice because it is half poison. Ghost type attacks are good against psychic type but are also weak against them too. I recommend using any bug moves as they will be super-effective. You could use strong physicial attacks because psychic pokemon don't have good defense. BLAINE - your starter should have evolved into its final form by now and its level should be around 45. Blastoise (final evolution of squirtle) will be great here as Blaine uses fire type pokemon. Venusaur (bulbasaur's final evolution) is a bad choice to use here so attack with any ground, rock, and water type attacks you have. Charizard (final evolution of charmander) is neither helped nor disadvantaged here so use ground, rock, or water type attacks to beat Blaine. GIOVANNI - venusaur and blastoise will go through Giovanni's team quickly since he uses ground type pokemon. If you have charizard I recommend using any water or grass types to mow through his team. | |||||||

| ELITE FOUR - first is Lorilei who uses water/ice pokemon. Take her out with electric type attacks. She also has a jynx, you can use fire type attacks to quickly end the match. Having charizard is a plus and a minus. Venusaur is weak against ice so don't send it in. Blastoise wont get any bonuses or disadvantage in the match. Bruno uses fighting and has two onix. You can take the onix out with blastoise or venusaur of any other water or grass type attacks. The best way to defeat the fighting pokemon is to use psychic or flying type attacks. Agatha uses poison type pokemon and can be destroyed with psychic or ground type attacks. She does also use ghost pokemon so don't use normal type attacks on them, they have no effect. Lance uses dragon type pokemon and they are very difficult to handle if you dont have the right moves. Ice type attacks are the best way to go when dealing with dragons, but dragon moves are also effective against dragons. Use any super-effective moves and try to end each fight quickly. your final battle is against your rival. his pokemon include: Pidgeot ) Rhydon } all these are always on the team Alakazam ) here's where it gets tricky: Gyarados,Exeggutor, and Charizard} if you chose Bulbsaur Acanine, Exeggutor, and Blastoise} if you chose Charmander Gyarados, Arcanine, and Venusaur} if you chose Squirtle This is for red and blue versions. | |||||||

| I am Cade from USA. Re: #3289 in the pokemon cheats. This is how to get into the Unknown Dungeon where Mewtwo is for the games leaf green/fire red. You have to beat the elite 4 with at least 60 pokémon in your pokédex. Then you have to give Celio (in the pokecenter on one island) the ruby stone (which is also on one island on mt. ember where the team rocket grunts are by the cave opening). Once you give the ruby stone to him, he will give you a pass to all 7 islands. Then you have to get him the sapphire stone. I'm not sure if you have to beat the elite 4 after that or not, but I don't think so. Then you can go to the Unknown Dungeon where Mewtwo waits at level 70 with Safeguard, Recover, Swift, and Psychic. I would bring about 40 ultra balls, 40 great balls, and 10 pokeballs because I almost caught him with a pokeball. Bring 5 pokémon(so you can use Mewtwo on your way out) around level 70-80, and save your master ball for the legendary dog. And by the way the Unknown Dungeon is really called Cerulean Cave. Getting the Sapphire Stone To get the sapphire stone you must go to Icefall Cave and help Elite 4's Lorelei battle team rocket. NOTE: you need a pokemon that knows surf and can learn waterfall(found in this cave) to get to her. As soon as you beat team rocket, go to six island to dotted hole (you WILL need cut for this) and the braille on the door will say to use cut, so use cut and go in. There will be braille words in there that tell you which hole to go in, but I can't remember what they say. Anyways, once you get to the bottom a guy will come in and steal the gem. So then you will have to go to five island where rocket's hideout is. You will go in and there will be a maze that is kind of tricky, but pay attention to which way the arrows go - that will be the key. Then after you fight that girl and guy toward the end, you will fight the guy who took the stone from you that has electric type pokemon. He will give you the sapphire stone. Then bring it back to Celio on one island. | |||||||

| Hi, My name's Ayah, the answer to number 3254 is that after you beat the Elite Four in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, you randomly encounter one of the three Legendary dogs in the grass. Which one depends on your starter. Charmander/Suicune, Bulbsaur/Entei, and Squirtle/Raiku. Oh, and it was stated in number 3260, you need Mewtwo to get them - I don't believe this is true. P.S. When you find one of the three Legendary dogs and it escapes, use your Pokedex to hunt it down. Don't fly over to it though, because when you do that, it moves far away. Just keep passing the borders of two routes. They catch on to what you're doing after a while though, so do it near a city. If they figure out what you're doing, you can go into the city and take another route. This is what I did to catch Latias on Sapphire, then I traded it to my Emerald and did it again, so I know this will work. It requires a lot of patience, though. I ran into Latias at least 9 times before I caught it the first time. Hope all of this helps!! | |||||||

When you insert a gameshark code of mew he appears at level 8 or 7 while in the mew cheat that everybody knows, he appears at level 7. So mew *is* in the game because he needs a code to be unlocked and a gameshark can do that - somehow the cheat (# 3047) frees mew from where he is, isn't that curious?

| I've heard about alternate color pokemon in fire red and leaf green but they are so rare I never thought that I'd see one. Then in leaf green I was wandering in the Safari Zone and I found a blue Nidorino. Oddly enough, I didn't need to do anything to catch it, but this just proves that they are really there. Now, I'm going to see if he can pass on the alternate color through breeding. | |||||||

| In response to the Mew glitch (# 3047) in Red and Blue, I
can confirm that this cheat is legal and valid. My friend has done
this in front of me on his Red version. He does not even have a
gameshark, so that's out of the picture. He saw the mew pop up and
even ran from it. You can absolutely catch a mew (and trade to Stadium
1&2, and other Gameboy versions (not advance)) this way. However, if you want a Mew in the GBA games, you will need to get the Old Sea Map for Pokemon Emerald by going to a Nintendo event. The Old Sea Map is a Key Item exclusively for Pokemon Emerald that allows passage to Faraway Island, where you play hide-and-seek with a Mew to eventually battle and catch him. This is the only confirmed way of getting a Mew in the GBA games (they've removed Missingno and Mew glitches from the GBA versions, in case you were wondering). Oh, and also, for cheat #3154 there is no confirmed way of getting a Mew in the versions he mentioned (Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed & LeafGreen), but he could buy Emerald and maybe go to a Nintendo event and get the old sea map.

| Hi my name is Shawn and I have a reply to # 3047. If you know fly go to Saffron and go to the exit to the left. Then go to the house at the top of the screen without seeing anyone. Go in front of the door and save your game. Then take one step down and press start RIGHT AWAY! Then go to pokémon and fly to Cerulean city. The gambler won't see you but your A,B, and start won't work right away. Then go up the nugget bridge and go 2 spaces in front of the kid that has only a Slowpoke. After beating him fly to Lavender and head towards Saffron. When you get into the little path your tool bar should pop up, just hit B and you will be attacked by a level 7 Mew. Right now my MEW is level 51 and he can learn any move in the game. | |||||||

| How do I get Kingdra in Pokemon Silver version? I have pokemon stadium 2 and it says you get it by trading it with "dragon scale" but in other places it said you get it by trading it with king's rock. Please someone answer me if it is with dragon scale (if so, tell me where do I get it) or with king's rock. | |||||||

| Hello,
My name is Adam. I am writing to you to partly explain what determines which pokemon you meet on cinnabar island. Most players would not be able to understand quite how this works, because they would have to know binary coding and assembly language. The main idea is that your name is an important factor. Certain letters in the game are coded to perform a pre-selected action. Apparently when Nintendo first created the earlier versions there were to be roughly 260 pokemon. When they deleted these pokemon from the game they left empty files in the basic structures of the game. You can catch any pokemon in the games exept for mew because you would have to type in numbers and you can't, for your name. All you have to do is pick the right name, and bingo, any pokemon you want.
