| The missingno cheat is actually a part of another cheat. When you surf on the right edge of Cinnabar Island, you can catch pokemon from the place you previously were. Using this cheat, you can catch Kangaskahn and Scyther by battling them. First, go to the Safari Zone. Then go through the different zones until you find the pokemon you want to capture. Then, stay in the same area and walk around until your time is up. Then, leave the building and fly to Cinnabar Island. Then surf on the right side between the land and the water. You will eventually battle the pokemon you saw before. | |||||||

| Hi Andy, My name is Blaze I'm from ny. I got missingno. His attack is really good but the rest is all really low. (WARNING DON'T KEEP MISSINGNO TURN OFF THE GAMEBOY AND DON'T SAVE IT) Firstly, I think I know why it's called Missingno. (notice it always has a period at the end) it means Missing No. (Missing Number) No. means number. It's referring to the fact that missingno has no number pokedex wise. Second. Every time when you do the missingno cheat you get your # 6 item multiplied by a lot. And sometimes the x__ what ever the first digit is replaced by random grapics .... maybe if you piece them together you might get a picture or clue, because it gives different graphics different times. Third. When you do the missingo cheat with the man in vermilion city (the one who you have to say, yes, no, no) you fly to cinnabar island and do the cheat.............BUT THEN you do not have to do the whole cheat over and fly back to vermilion, you can just stay in cinnabar and go out and surf again and you'll run into it. (if you don't run into it on first try keep swimming, I ran into two golbats, two pidgeys, before I got missingno) it saves lots of time and is handy for multiplying lots of items. Fourth. My name in the game was Mick (four letters). My version was red. I ran into a few golbats, so far they have been levels 132, and 136. Fifth. When i caught missingno and used it for a quick battle, the icon in the list of pokemon was all weird. It was a person. the icon was a person. and it changed a few times into weird icons. Andy I have worked really hard to get all this information so please put it on your website. | |||||||

| I was wondering how you get to that Power Plant in the Yellow version? Also are there any cheats available for yellow to boost the levels of my pokémon, because they are at that point in the Pokémon League where I just lose to Gary (the rival) on his very last pokémon and there is nothing more annoying! Thanks Saz xXx | |||||||

I would like to submit a new cheat (I think it's new) about MissingNo.
First, get a pokemon that knows Fly. Go to Viridian city, and talk to
the man that was in the way at the beginning of the game. He will ask
you if you want to learn how to catch a pokémon, say yes. He will then
show you, and after that, immediately fly to cinnabar island. Hopefully,
you have a pokemon in your party that knows Surf - if you don't and you
have to go to the PC, you might have to repeat the cheat. Anyway, go to
the east coast of Cinnabar island, and surf it up and down. Pretty soon,
MissingNo should appear. Immediately run, and the item in your 6th spot
in your inventory will go up (increase) by a lot. Also, you can do this (increase) with fossils such as the dome fossil, so you can get many KABUTOs and Olmanites (forgive me for the spelling). Be careful, if you do that, it will be very hard to get the items back in your PC, since you can't put them all in at once. Thank you for reading this. P.S. your site is pretty darn cool | |||||||
