| Re # 4258: You can find Raikou on any route in Kanto in the grass only. I recommend getting Max Repels, looking around in the grass until you eventually find it. Then give a Quick Claw to a Golbat, use mean look and chip away at its health. Try to also put it asleep and fire a load of Ultra Balls at it. | |||||||

| Hi, the same thing happened to my game, the battery in the inside of the game died. Get a knife, or if you have the right type of screwdriver, use that, and take off the screw on the back of the game. Slide half the cartridge down, then off. You will see a round silver disc with yellow tape around it, that's the battery. Now the toughest part is taking the battery out. What you must do is use the steak knife and wedge in the arm plate thing, carefully enough not to break it. Once you get the top arm off, you must work on the bottom arm. The bottom one was a bit easier to do because I kinda bent it in a peeling-like direction but I still used the knife to wedge it off ... if the arms are bent that's okay, but try to straighten them out into the original position. Now everybody says that you must get a soldering gun, that's just not necessary. The type of battery is a C2025. You can find these in calculators, watches or even other electrical devices like remotes for radios. All you need now is tape. Put the new battery in between the two arms and tape it together! That's all you have to do! It's actually very easy to do. You shouldn't get another game because they are ALL like that now unless you change the battery. Now put the top back on the game and put the screw back in and tighten it. You may not have your old game back but if you start a new game, and save, it should work now. The batteries usually last 7 or 8 years. | |||||||

PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN'T VERIFY THIS, SO PLEASE ASK AN ADULT BEFORE YOU TRY IT, IF YOUR GAME WON'T SAVE, OR WON'T WORK. WORTH ALSO CHECKING WITH THE SHOP WHERE YOU BOUGHT IT, FIRST, AS OPENING UP THE CASING WILL PROBABLY INVALIDATE YOUR GUARANTEE. | |||||||||
