| I can't believe it!!! I tried this cheat [# 3047] on pokémon blue and it worked, I caught a level 7 mew!!! I used rare candys on it from missingo and it's now at level 100!!!! :) I've just got 2 things to add 1. don't go directly to the youngster with slowpoke, make him walk to you or else your game will freeze. 2. when it says go down the path when you fly to lavender, you must go along the path to the left of the pokémon center. | |||||||

| I have the answer to # 3185 [quoted here until we have time to tackle all the links .... "I am stuck at the Pokémon League on LEAF GREEN. Because I can't defeat the best trainer in the league, Gary. If there are any cheats or hints to get past him please can someone send them in?" ... sent in by eddilaws] This is in Leaf Green. To beat your rival Gary you must have these pokémon: Pokémon .......................................... Level Starter ........................................... 60+ Snorlax or any other strong normal type ........... 60+ Articuno or any ice type. It can also be water/ice such as Dewgong. Can use Lapras for best effect .................... 60+ Zapdos or any electric type ....................... 60+ Moltres or any fire type .......................... 60+ your rival's starter's weakness ................... 60+ (note: if your rival's weakness pokémon is already given here keep another of his weakness because he is very strong). Gary will start out with his pidgeot. Hit with electric or ice - use strong moves like thunderbolt, thunder, ice beam or blizzard. Aurora beam and Shock wave are good too if your pokémon is 65+. Alakazam will come out next. You can't really hit him super effective right now so use hyper beam with snorlax. if you don't have hyperbeam hit Alakazam with any attack with power over 100. Rhyhorn/Rhydon will come next. Use Ice attacks like ice beam and blizzard. Next is up to you. If you have: (1) Venusaur It will be Exegcute next. Use fire or ice: Flamethrower and Ice beam are excellent. Gyarados will be next. Hit it with electric. Charizard will come. Hit with Electric or its weakness. examples are Lapras, Golem, and Gyarados will be super effective. Use attacks such as Surf, and Hydropump. (2) Charizard it will probably be either Arcanine or Ninetales. Use water: Surf and Hydropump. Exegcute will come. Use Fire or Ice: Icebeam or flamethrower. Blastoise will be next. Use electric or grass: Raichu or zapdos, victreebel: Thunderbolt, thunder or Solarbeam (3) Blastoise Gyarados will come. electric: Raichu and Zapdos. Arcanine or Ninetales. water: Lapras: hydropump or surf. Venusaur: Use fire or flying: moltres, Pidgeot, ninetales: flamethrower or aerial ace or wing attack or sky attack. | In response to # 4134: Feebas is much harder to catch on Diamond/Pearl since it has not been given a permanent place. The only way to catch it is going to Mt. Coronet and fishing there. Feebas is found in only 6 random spots on the map which will change every day so it is possible to catch a Feebas in a spot where you could not catch it the day before. Luck is as important as patience when catching Feebas. Another way would be to transfer a Feebas to your Diamond/Pearl game via Pal Park from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. | |||||||

| In response to # 4214: It is true that Zapdos can't learn Sky Attack but a Charizard is able to use Heat Wave and the only way to do this is to go to the Move Relearner on Island Two in FR/LG and try to make Charizard re-learn moves. | In response to # 4218, there is no way that a pokémon from Yellow version can be traded to any advanced Generation games. The pokémon games are placed in four categories or generations: 1st gen (Bulbasaur to Mew): Red, Blue, Yellow 2nd gen (Chikorita to Celebi): Gold, Silver, Crystal 3rd gen (Treecko to Jirachi): Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald 4th gen (Turtwig to Arceus: Diamond and Pearl The compatibility for these games are that Gen 1 games can be traded to other Gen 1 games or Gen 2 games, and Gen 3 games are compatible with other Gen 3 and Gen 4 games. Gen 1 and Gen 2 games are not compatible with either Gen 3 or Gen 4 games because of all the new pokémon, improved graphics and compatibility with the Game Boy / Nintendo DS restrictions. Thus, Pokémon Yellow can't be traded to Pokémon Emerald or Pokémon Leaf Green (etc). | |||||||
