| First go to saffron city where the big building is and deafeat Giovanni and get the master ball and the silph scope then go to the tower where all the pokémon are buried and go up to the top and get past the angry ghost wich is (marowak or something) then save Mr. Fiji from team rocket and he will give you the pokeflute then you can use the pokeflute to wake up Snorlax and you can also use it in battle to wake your pokémon up from sleep unlimited times. | |||||||

| Strong arcanine: (note: this cheat won't work on red/blue because there was no such thing as extreme speed). If you have a pokémon xtra dimension gale of darkness guidebook, you will see that arcanine learns extreme speed (and I think it can learn it on firered too) at level 48 so fire red catch paras and some of the paras in safari zone have a big mushroom and you can teach pokémon moves in two island from the move maniac and teach growlithe flamethower! and in lvl 47 give it fire stone so lvl48 you can learn the extreme speed technique. So now you have a strong arcanine 2p.s rock smash / extreme speed? maybe. Flamethrower / double edge are the good techniques of your arcanine, also pokémon xd gale of darkness growlithe is a shadow pokemon, and try to find the fire stone and purify growlithe. Teach it double edge and evolve it at 47 and for sure extreme speed and its best moves are extreme speed / body slam / flamethrower (you find this tm at the s.s libra and the fire stone at the libra). now you have a good arcanine and you rate :D great :) good : 1 knew it :( uncool! | |||||||

Games can be re-set by mistake by pressing various buttons together but if you didn't do that and this keeps happening, check back with the shop where you bought it. Other people have written in - eg Jackson at # 4160 to say this was happening with a silver game, and other people have said they were getting this with other game versions - ask the shop to change it if it's new and you think it's faulty, or write to the manufacturers. In seven years of building these pages this sort of problem has rarely if ever been written in about, so with more of you reporting this now, there could possibly be something wrong at one of the manufacturing plants somewhere. | ||||||||||

At Cerulean City find Bill's house which now has his grandfather in. As far as we can gather he will give you a stone but only one (?) though apparently you have to show him the Pokémon in this order - Lickitung (Everstone), Oddish (Leaf Stone), Staryu (Water Stone), Vulpix / Growlithe (Fire Stone), Pichu (Thunder Stone) - we have no idea how you get to choose which stone you want, if indeed you're able to choose. In the years since the Cheats area at Andy's Guide to Pokémon first started, there have been many mail problems - and quite a few computer crashes - and we'd like to say sorry to anyone whose messages have got lost along the way .... just remember you can *always* re-send, and hopefully now that we have a more guaranteed way for info to reach us here, we'll find a way to get most or all of the genuine info on line :) We very much appreciate the support that all of you give this site. |
