Re # 3188 - tip - I've beaten this game already - I won because of my successful catch of all of the legendary birds. Try using a Blastoise or Articuno (if you have one) on his Sandslash and Flareon (only if he involved his Eevee into one, and if he evolved it into a Jolteon use a ground type). Use Zapdos (if you have one) on his Cloyster, and beat the other pokémon by their weakness and type. Hope this helps you, Asamra.

To beat BLAINE, first I got myself a Lapras and trained it to a high enough level, oh and teach it surf. And, or catch a WATER type Pokemon like a Seel from seafoam islands, or a Tentacruel with a super rod at the north side edge of the island. They're usually about level 40 when you catch them. And try to not get any questions in the gym.

Hi Andy, in response to # 4110, tinymushrooms are found on wild paras.

There are three ways to obtain them:
1. Give a pokémon tm46 and use it on a Paras. 50% chance of getting mushroom if your pokémon isn't holding anything.
2. Simply catch him, he may be holding a 'shroom.
3. the toughest way is raise Snorlax to lv.45 and he will learn covet. Covet is like thief, but it has the advantage of being 40pp instead of 10pp (thief).

Leaf Green/Fire Red
If you are on island 4,5,6 or 7 and you aren't able to trade, you need to give the Sapphire Plate to Celio. That's on island 4.
Beat in the ice cave all the rockets with Lorelei, get the password, go to island 6. Go to the mountains downside where is on the end a house. Cut open the door and read the braille. A rocket takes the sapphire. Go to the warehouse, beat the rocket, he gives you the sapphire and give it to Celio!
