| Hello,
My name is Nathanael and I live in the Cayman Islands and the Pokémon game I have been playing is Pokémon Red. You have a great page and I came across it three days ago. I didn't know what the big thing was about MEW and my younger brother told me. I didn't even know much about pokémon till a short while ago. I like to troubleshoot and I decided to find MEW using the # 3047 cheat... it worked. I tried it five times in a row and each time worked. I don't know what the first guy's name is who gave the cheat but, "thanks for the cheat" and being clear in the instructions. Thanks to Marcus from Australia and his directions helped also. I have only one thing last to add. Even though MEW is only Level 7 he is very hard to catch and is about as difficult as his DNA double MEWTWO. All I was using was the "GREAT BALL" and I took ten of them with me in case I needed them. I had to restart several times to modify what I did, but each time, MEW was there. I used CLEFAIRY (captured in Mt. Moon) and EKANS (I got him somewhere in the grass). I started with Level 13 CLEFAIRY and used pound till I got Mew to one health point left. (He won't fall asleep and is very resistant to it till he is weak.) Then I used EKANS and screech to break down MEW's defence till screech wouldn't work anymore. At this point, make sure MEW is asleep and start throwing "GREAT BALLS". After three balls I caught him. I hope this helps. Last notes in case you need them... I'm 27 years old (yeah, maybe too old for Pokémon but I don't think so!) Pokémon game name "Blade". Up till the time that I went to get Mew, I had used no other cheats in the game. This cheat should work without problem. Thanks again for the good site.

| Hey Andy,
This is Brendan, from the United States. Could you please tell me how to evolve Eevee into Espeon and Umbreon, using the Gold version. Cool site. Thanks for the help. Brendan
| You need to keep Eevee in your active party (or use it in a lot of battles), to make it happier. It will probably have been at level 5 happiness rating when you first got it (you can check the current level at the Happiness Rater's home in Goldenrod City) ..... you need it to get up to level 1 (by making it happier and happier) when it should evolve naturally into Espeon (daytime) or Umbreon (night-time). If you need both Espeon and Umbreon you might need to first take your Eevee to the Day Care Centre near Goldenrod City (along with a Ditto, to breed with) to get an Eevee egg (make sure you have an empty slot in your belt, first). You have to leave them alone together until the Day Care man comes out of the building, when he should give you the egg. Just carry it around with you until it hatches, then you will have an extra Eevee to evolve how you choose. Note: Feedback appreciated. Please mention # 3222 if you reply :) * Later - see # 3271. | ||||||

| I don't like going through the battles/boss - is there anywhere I can get all the badges/items/Pokémon and skip all battles [also Gary]. | ||||||
| LOL Sorry, no, we don't think so :) Although fighting doesn't appeal to many people, weighing up the experience and techniques of different Pokémon and developing strategies to win where you need to, is part of the overall ethos of the game - people who play Pokémon become very good at thinking multi-laterally - not only taking many different factors into consideration simultaneously but also planning ahead for what will be needed later in the game. You'd lose a lot of that without the battles! and realistically real life has "good bits" and "bad bits", anyway. Nearly all console games etc. have "challenges to face" and people/things you have to win against to complete the game - if the "fighting" aspect bothers you but you still want to play Pokémon, then read your manual and strategy books thoroughly so you can make sure you protect your Pokémon the best you can when they have to go into battle :) Note: Feedback appreciated. Please mention # 3223 if you reply :) | ||||||

| To get Mystery Event on RUBY/SAPPHIRE: [you will need a LINK CABLE and you and a friend must have RUBY or SAPPHIRE] Go to the guy by the computer, talk to him and make a profile, say Mystery Event is exciting then save the game. Switch off your gameboy, switch it back on - now you will have the Mystery Event option. Make sure your friend has it as well, then plug in the LINK CABLE, then go to Mystery Event and you have unlocked Mystery Event. I hope this will help. from Christian. | ||||||

| Hi Andy I am May from Singapore and I just begin to play colorgame Pokemon. My version is silver. I have some questions to ask. Firstly, how to use ItemFinder? Although when I used the ItemFinder, all it will say was 'Wait, there's something near here' and I can't find anything after every single corner I have searched. Do I need to use something to take it out? Secondly, sometimes when I use the ULTRA BALL to catch Pokémon which they are weak, they still manage to break free? How can I catch them? Thirdly, some items I can't deposit into my PC. Are those things used for exchange, or what? Hope someone can help. Thanks a million. :) | ||||||
