THE WORLD IN FIVE PAGES ..... a unique network of links to governments, education departments, schools and universities across the planet

Welcome to Schools Interchange! This whole area is designed to allow schools in any part of the world to link up with schools in other countries.

For the first time *ever*, there is now a network in place of links to country governments, education ministries, schools, school-nets, schools and universities right across the planet. From huge continents to tiny islands; if the information's available, you should find it here :)

These five *long* pages - Africa, the Americas, Australasia, Europe/Asia and the British Isles - linked from the table below, provide a network of "all the areas of the world" ..... some of the areas have an amazing wealth of information and thousands of schools on line; others are just beginning and looking for help in bringing the internet to schools across their countries. Please select any of the geographical areas below for listings of all the school-nets currently available, that lead onwards to schools' websites.

If you find any new local government school-nets, please let us know! (see our "Credits" page listing all the people who've sent in info so far). Schools Interchange will enable an *awesome* range of inter-school contacts across the world which has never before been possible, simply because all this information was never collected together in one place before now. Traffic levels at Project HappyChild are currently anything up to one million per month (see our "about us" page and latest Newsletter for more info).

If you're searching for a particular country or territory, but don't know which continent it's on, select from our "Countries A-Z" index below and choose "schools" when you reach the relevant entry, to see if there's a listing for that country. It's not as "exact" as the individual continent listings (eg some islands below are uninhabited), but may be a quicker way to find what you're looking for.
