THE WHITE HOUSE

a part of the HAVEN HOUSE FOUNDATION

Haven House Foundation

is a children’s hospice
and short-term
respite care centre
based in The White House,
Woodford Green.


We provide expert care in a friendly, secure, home from home environment for children, aged from birth to 19 years suffering with life threatening and life limiting conditions, and their families.

The care we provide is free to all and we rely on fundraising and the support of local businesses and the community.



We opened our first four bedrooms in August 2003 and since then have welcomed over 100 children and families. It costs approximately Ł1.3 million a year to run our Hospice.

Other services we offer are the Haven Buddies which provides a support service for young brothers and sisters of the children who stay at our hospice, the Home Loan Service provides support to children and their families in their own homes by providing specially adapted toys and equipment on free loan and The Lila Service trains and supports specialist play workers to provide home based play opportunities to children with life limiting conditions.



We need your help to raise funds to keep the hospice open and enable us to continue to give children and their families our help and support when they need it most.
