We've had many requests over the years for Word Searches at Project HappyChild. Special thanks go to Mario Becroft in New Zealand for his help in putting this new area together - so far there are 180 wordsearches linked from different areas of the table below, but many more will be added, with around 1000 planned in total so far.

New lists are *always* appreciated - especially from people who know a lot about a particular subject and are able to structure keyword lists in hierarchies (as has been done already for areas such as the Human Body, Insects, Reptiles, Invertebrates, etc.) so that students can grasp a wider overview of the whole subject, and so that the list words themselves can be used as prompts for learning and recall within defined areas.

The word search grids are free and can be printed off and photocopied as required, for whole classes or for individual children. Terms of use are as per Freeway resources (see the Freeway area).We've aimed to structure them in such a way that many areas of interest, education, learning and vocabulary are included.

If visitors have *any* areas of specialist knowledge (academic, trades, crafts, hobbies, sports, music etc.) please send us a list! (see the contact link below) - this area can be an awesome reference source for kids if you could just spare a little time to list out 20 basic keywords, to allow more free-to-print word searches to be created.

To print any word search, simply select "print pages 1 to 1" [draft quality, greyscale, is fine].
