THE WORLD IN FIVE PAGES ..... a unique network of links to governments, education departments, schools and universities across the planet

Schools Interchange is a massive project to enable schools in cities, towns and villages across every continent to link up safely with one another.

Links are now in place to local school-nets and university-nets right across the world - Schools Interchange doesn't list schools individually as local school-nets almost invariably have the most up-to-date listings, and this way schools only need to ensure they are listed with their local net, rather than trying to register themselves with endless "global schools directories" which generally list only a tiny proportion of the schools and universities in any given country.

The resources of Schools Interchange have been updated and comprehensively increased, across all areas of the world, from the huge continents to the tiny islands in the 4.9 million square miles of the Pacific Ocean.

There are now *FULL* listings for the British Isles - England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and many of the tiny islands around our coast which are part of the whole geographical region; huge numbers of links across the Americas (USA, Canada, Mexico, Central + South America and the Caribbean); links to hard-to-find school-nets in Africa, and comprehensive listings of governments, education departments, school-nets and universities right across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The total number of schools and universities accessible via Schools Interchange is now at least 200,000. Some countries (particularly in Africa) don't yet have school-nets and some in the process of upheaval don't have government websites either, but these will be added wherever appropriate, in due course. New notifications of local government school-nets are always appreciated! - please send the URL where schools' websites are actually listed, when you write. Our *long* "Credits" page mentions just a few of the people who've helped by sending in information since the first pages were added to Schools Interchange back in 1999.
