After a long period of searching for educational resources on the Internet,
via the Search Engines, we came to the inescapable conclusion that the
WWW Virtual Library offers the broadest possible range of subjects on line across the world.
In order to make this Library more easily accessible to teachers, parents and children, we've worked through the WWWVL Index pages and
constructed a one-page Index incorporating selected categories along the
lines of the WWWVL index tree [for ease of further research by visitors],
with around 200 links to items of specific interest.
These include an
astonishing range of science subjects as well as on-line
books and plays, Sheffield University's chemical calculator,
resources and tutorials for website building, and extensive resources to aid
teachers in teaching / learning Internet skills.
We've also included items like Cambridge University's Ozone Hole Tour
website, and their Maths resources for Key Stages 1-5 (K12), along with the
2000 simple addition worksheets and 2000 subtraction worksheets you can print from the Project HappyChild site here, as well as free worksheets for helping children to learn and practise times tables multiplication, times tables division, and fractions (the latter including three exclusive "Bart and Miss Walker" stories explaining how fractions work, how to add them together, and how to convert percentages to fractions).
