Area 15 is the umbrella area into which we've moved all the "extra" additions to the site
- those that don't fit naturallly within any of the other homepage areas.
1. "Your Age in Seconds" ... this keenly-awaited resource has finally gone on line here, just after midnight at the beginning of 4th July 2010. Our thanks go to David Booker whose programming skills have helped to accelerate all sorts of factors across the site.
So, how many seconds old do you think you are? How many months, how many days, how many hours? You may be surprised :) click here to find out.
2. "The Potted Learning Pages" ... an area specially created on the second anniversary of the Twin Towers tragedy, as an enduring tribute to an ever-more-united world where so many people share what they have with those who need it.
3. "The Internet Paintbox" ... an area specially created two years from the date of the London bombings.
4. "Christmas Carols" ... a selection of carols that children can use for carol-singing (on free-to-print sheets) and the words of the timeless " 'Twas The Night Before Christmas " poem.
5. "Time and Space" ... tracing timelines of human development, inventions and much more.
6. School Exam Subjects ... yes, well, you knew we had to have a page like this *somewhere* on this site.
7. Games ... for when you feel like some "time out". All the games are simple and easy to use (Internet Explorer a better browser for these than Firefox, probably). They're all vaguely "educational" in nature ... if you're looking for something more topic-geared, try the "Keywords for Learning" wordsearch puzzles in Area 1.
... and that's it (the end of the 'extra' resources). "The Journey" page identifies how we eventually got to 100 million visits
and completed the scheduled pagebuilding for this website. The "Latest News" page details anything that happened after that :)
