The Infinite Facts Series is a collection of interesting facts for kids - ranging from subjects like "The Police Letters Alphabet" to Kings & Queens, UK Prime Ministers, Morse Code, the Solar System, Stars & Constellations, Arabic, Roman & Binary Numerals ... and a printable version of the periodic table (Atomic Numbers & Symbols).
All pages in this area were specially set so the relevant info will print exactly onto a sheet of A4 (choose "print page 1 of 1" and "portrait" setting). Click here for the index to this area.
*NEW* A long-planned expansion of The Infinite Facts Series has come about with the setting up of "Keywords for Learning", which allows kids to assimilate endless collections of facts through doing "word searches" (these can be printed out for use at home or school).
Click here for the index to free wordsearches which include Shakespeare's plays (histories, comedies and tragedies), books on line (including links to the actual texts of books like Frankenstein, Pride and Prejudice, Tarzan and the Apes, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland), rodents, cats, horses, dogs, The Bible, and a whole range of subjects across both academic and general interest themes.
The index to the Infinite Facts Series was originally set by Martin Lockey, who built the first pages of this website for free, back in early 1998. The Police Letters Alphabet remains to this day one of the site's most enduringly popular pages :)
Facts relating to "Pokémon" and "Harry Potter" [most popular subjects of all for many kids!] can be found in Area 12 and Area 13 at Project HappyChild; there are also 25 Pokémon wordsearches in the KFL area, from lists sent in by site visitors, and 50 Harry Potter wordsearches for the 700+ characters in the Harry Potter books are now on line here as well.
You might also wish to take a look at Michael Tipper's pages in Area 3 of this website, which give techniques for "Accelerated Learning" - useful for when you need to learn lists of facts for exams etc. ..... and you'll find detailed information on a huge range of free Educational Resources in Area 4 at Project HappyChild.
