I absolutely LOVE Harry Potter, I've seen the movie twice and it just came out 4 days ago! Hermione does a great job acting, she fits J.K Rowling's character totally! Ron does extremely well also he puts so much expression into it and does a VERY good job. Harry also does pretty good I think! Out of the teachers I think that Severus Snape did very well. Hagrid does very well too ..... do see the movie it is AWESOME!

I am 11 and I have read the 1st book 17 times and listened to it on tape 5 times. I have read the 2nd book which I like a lot but is my least favorite out of the 4, 11 times and listened to it on tape 3 times. The third book which is probably my favorite 16 times and listened to it on tape 5 times. I really like the 4th book but I have only read it 5 times and I have never listened to it on tape. I think the movie is totally awesome!!!!!!!!

Have you heard that J.K. Rowling was inspired by her neighbor's last name to make Harry's last name Potter? I found out her favorite author was Jane Austen. I'm going to find some Jane Austen books to read, too.

Harry Potter books are great. How does JK Rowling write books that appeal to both kids and their parents. I read the first book to my children and are now on the next one. I have skipped ahead and read all of them because I just couldn't wait. I have read heaps of books and Harry Potter is right up there with the best. Can't wait for the next book and the movie.

When I first heard about Harry Potter, I thought, 'Oh-no another non-event book for children to read', but I was pleasantly surprised. My 10 year old daughter, Charlotte, had been reading Harry Potter at school, and with her having to read to me aloud at home - I got quite addicted and could not wait for the next instalment. I read the first book in just two days, then got stuck into the 2nd book straight away, (my husband was trying to read book 2 at the same time as I was - so we were actually fighting over who got the book first in the evening), what a great story. I am now half-way through the 3rd book, and really enjoying it. Cannot wait till the film comes out in November.

I've just finished the first Harry Potter book, literally just! I've always been an avid fantasy reader, Lord of the Rings, etc. and after my 7 year old cousin started to quiz me on Quidditch I thought I had better find out what was going on. I would like to say that Harry Potter is one of the best children's books I have ever read and found it so much fun to read to my two daughters (aged 8 & 6) - my mother thinks that they are great too.
