RESISTANCE

Resistance is the opposition of one thing to another: for example, the resistance of a wire is how much opposition it provides to the passage of electricity through it.


In relation to electricity, resistance is measured in Ohms and is calculated by dividing the potential difference (in volts) by the current which is flowing (in amps).
