Healthy means the complete wellness of a living organism. So, it includes freedom from disease, the metabolism working well and, where applicable, mental and emotional wellbeing


Health is not dependent on age, although there are some diseases such as cancer which are more common with advancing age. Nor does health apply simply to humans - for example, the health of animals under various methods of farming may vary considerably.
