Welcome to the ROMANIAN area at Project HappyChild. Thanks to the translation (and checking) help currently being provided by people across the world (all giving their time and expertise entirely free of charge) we are in the process of building a *huge* area of free translation worksheets for children and students to use, across an increasing range of languages.
The Romanian verb worksheets went on line on 25th April 2007. We are indebted to Vera Costea (translating) and Anca Greere (checking) who provided the content for over 390 worksheets for Romanian verbs.
The Romanian verb worksheets can be reached from the centre and right-hand columns of the table below - the English verb names take you to the index for that verb, and the numbered columns take you to the individual tenses (column 1 is present tense, etc.).
We're delighted to say that after many more months of work, the Romanian vocabulary worksheets have now gone on line - 18th September 2008. Once again our thanks go to Vera Costea (translating) and Anca Greere (checking) who have provided the Romanian content for the worksheets now linked below.
Areas covered include: food and drink, your home, garden, family, the human body [everything from the body's inner systems to hair, make-up and clothing], animals, birds and insects [including animal sounds], travel, holidays and sightseeing, cars and driving, tools and equipment, or school, office, sports and leisure, shopping, trees, countryside and general chit-chat. All in easy-to-manage blocks, each with about 10 new words or phrases.
The content of the Romanian-English worksheets and overview pages has been put together over a very long period, and it is hoped that they will provide a valuable learning resource for schools and families alike.
Additional offers of translating help for further languages - see the Translators' page - would be very much appreciated.
