MASCULINE AND FEMININE adjectives - ones whose meanings change depending on whether they appear before the noun, or follow it.
There are just a few adjectives (again worth learning!) which have more than one meaning. For example, "my own house" is translated as "ma propre maison". However "ma maison propre" means "my clean house" .....
