MASCULINE AND FEMININE adjectives - ones that go *before* the noun
ADJECTIVES 01 explained how adjectives in French need to *agree* with the masculine or feminine nouns they describe.
Nearly all adjectives in French *follow* the noun - but there are a few that go *before* it [see also ADJECTIVES 09] and ADJECTIVES 11]. These are all worth learning.
