ADVERTISING

Advertising in the Project HappyChild Shop is very inexpensive - probably less than you'd pay for a small lineage advertisement in your local newspaper every week.

A full year's advertising costs just Ł400 - payable in advance - equivalent to less than Ł8 per week. We don't accept advertisements for less than one year, simply because of the volume of other pagebuilding taking place at present.

Traffic levels across the whole site are currently registering well over 10 million page-views per year. If you'd like to support Project HappyChild by placing an advertisement in the Shop, just write to us via the contact link below.

Project Happychild is non-profit and advertising fees help to fund ongoing computer and Internet costs, as well as other miscellaneous expenses like postage and stationery (pagebuilding of the site's resources is done free of charge).

Existing shop categories are shown in the table below - see also the section below the table, for details of the types of sites we're able to link to.

ADVERTISING REQUIREMENTS: All we ask is that your site content is relevant to our visitors, and that you meet our link criteria. We aim not to link to sites with pop-ups or flashing banners, or which carry any material which might be unsuitable for five-year-olds (we get infant and primary school classes visiting with their teachers).

The same applies to sites you link onwards to; we aim to avoid even extended linking to irrelevant commercial advertising and masses of miscellaneous links, as if a child travels from this site to yours, we'd like them to be able to progress onwards to sites which are equally appropriate :)
