Each linked "country" or "territory" entry has links to the relevant continent "schools" page (which is linked to government websites, education departments and local school-nets wherever found); the linked "projects" pages (projects helping kids) have links to continent maps and the countries pages themselves show the capital cities for countries and territories, as well as linking to resources for currency conversion, pictures of banknotes, latitude and longitude of capital cities, and a huge range of maps of different kinds.
We've aimed to make this whole resource as comprehensive and "specific" as possible - search engines are a wonderful invention but you can search a long time for a particular resource ..... and find a lot of stuff you maybe didn't want, along the way. One of the overall aims of the whole Project HappyChild site is to provide a giant "interchange" (a bit like Spaghetti Junction, maybe!) where you can find links to the *specific* information you're looking for. And maybe provide parents with an overall framework where they can easily find good quality information on anything they need to explain.
One of the hardest things as a parent, is not knowing how to answer a question! but together with our index to "free educational resources worldwide", the "Potted Learning" pages and the new "how we got here" page, the Countries pages should help to "fill in the gaps" so that there's a proper starting point for whatever parents - and kids! - need to find out.
All the "countries index pages" are interlinked - you can either work from the A-Z of countries above, or choose a "starting letter" from the A - Z links across top and bottom of all countries pages ..... and select from the links you need, when you get there. Or you might want to stop off and find "your age in seconds", how long till your next birthday, the weather forecast for your area, or the latest on volcano eruptions, along the way ....
