DISK 49.
The next vowel sound we meet is "o", at the "7
o'clock" position. You will remember how the
"silent E at the end of a word" made an "a" sound
into an "a" sound. Something else it can do is to
make an "o" sound into an o sound
Here the change is combined with more sets of "double bricks", these being C plus H, making a "ch" sound, and S plus H, making a "sh" sound.
The words shown are, clockwise round the disk
choke * chose * chock * shot.
Now you read them:
(pause) Yes, they are:
choke * chose * chock * shot.
