DISK 35.
Sometimes A, which usually makes the sound "a", is
followed by the letter L which although it is not
sounded makes the short "a" into an "ah" sound, at the
"one o'clock" position. So we get the words:
calm * balm * psalm * qualm.
Notice that the P at the beginning of "psalm" is a "silent letter". P before S at the beginning of a word is always silent in this way.
Now read the words on the disk:
(pause) Yes, they are
calm * balm * psalm * qualm.
