Port and Starboard 2
You will recall that one of the earliest mnemonic articles I did - click here - was on how to remember which side of a ship was port and which side was starboard. One of our visitors Dr Cled T. Click has given us another suggestion:
Here is another way to keep them "correct".
Use alphabetic ascending order:
P (port) comes before S (starboard)
L (left) comes before R (right)
Therefore, Port will always be Left and Starboard will
always be Right.
